How to Lead Conversations About Media Consumption

Watch the webinar to learn strategies teach our students to become knowledgeable and responsible consumers and creators of media in today’s digital world.

Media Literacy for Safe and Healthy Choices is an evidence-based, engaging curriculum that helps students recognize the impact media can have on the choices they make about violence, bullying, alcohol and tobacco use, and nutrition — all decisions that could affect their success in school and life.

You’ll build your own media literacy knowledge too. Media Literacy for Safe and Healthy Choices includes comprehensive professional learning that provides a solid foundation in what media literacy is and how to teach it to your students. You’ll examine your own perceptions of media, learn the connection between media, thought and behavior, and have the opportunity to share ideas with educators across the country. Upon course completion, you’ll be eligible for continuing education credits.
