Youth Summer Camps

Summer Filmmaking Fun!

Media Power Youth offers a wide variety of youth programs including our filmmaking summer camps. Our current camps are designed to give children ages 10-14 a fun and creative challenge that harnesses their interest in media and encourages them to use it as a tool to advocate for themselves and the people and things they care about. Our campers will rediscover the joys of living in the present moment and the power of play as they engage in a collaborative filmmaking experience with their peers!

See details below for more information about our 2025 summer camps and our respective partners.

Let your creativity take flight at Conservation Quest camp, where we tie the excitement of filmmaking to outdoor adventure! We’ll get hands-on with cameras, play with sound, and learn the secrets of editing to make our stories come alive. We will also have plenty of time to explore the trails, go ponding, and meet the animals that call NH Audubon their home! Join us for some summer exploration as we make positive change in the world around us! Check out our blog to see campers’ films from last year.

Reel Explorers Camp

formerly known as Flip the Script
July 14 – 18
SEE Science Center

Register in February at SEE Science Center

Join us as we immerse ourselves in the world of sound through experimental filmmaking! We will become Foley Artists and explore how audio helps us tell stories. We will discover ways to use media to inspire others as we recreate sound effects for our very own short films with fun props and recording techniques! You’d be amazed by how much we can do with coconut shells, gloves and tape. Join us for a week of summer fun where we unleash our creativity, all while building the skills we need to advocate for our own well-being and communities! Check out our blog to see campers’ films from last year.

Join the celebration! Campers’ films will be showcased at Media Power Youth’s end of summer youth film festival at River River Theatres on August 16, 2025. More details coming soon!
