Spotlight Community Impact Awards 2026

Who at your school makes your community a better place?

Share a story for the 2026 Spotlight Community Impact Awards by April 19th to be featured at the New Hampshire High School Student Short Film Festival!

We’re so excited to team up with New Hampshire Media Teachers for the first time to bring our Spotlight Community Impact Awards to this year’s festival. With the generous support of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, we invite New Hampshire public high school students to share the story of a person, group, or project at your school that makes a real difference.

You can tell that story using the format that best fits your style, whether that’s a short film or a single photo paired with an essay. Our goal is to celebrate how the heart and energy inside our schools create a positive ripple effect that helps our entire community thrive. Head over to the festival website (nhmediateachers.org/nhhssff) to learn how to submit your work by April 19th. We can’t wait to see how you use your creativity to inspire others and show what makes your community great!

Save the date May 17th.  We will be showcasing a selection of films and photo/essay submissions at a celebratory event at Chunky’s Cinema in Manchester, NH. Details coming soon.
